Coffee service by Timo Sarpaneva for Rosenthal.
'Suomi' pattern, created in 1974.
White porcelain. Stamped: Rosenthal / studio-line / Germany.
15-piece set comprising: 6 small plates, 6 cups, 1 coffee pot, sugar bowl, and creamer.
This set, with its geometric neo-Art Deco design and pastel tones, is typical of the late 1980s, is no longer in production, and is in near-mint condition. Only a few pieces have been used 2 or 3 times, and many have never even been used!
This pattern is no longer in production.
Current retail price on the Rosenthal website for the basic version in plain white (without patterns), for this 15-piece set: €645!
Selling due to renovation and redecorating.
