This ceramic vase is a design by Studio Fris from Edam, the Netherlands, produced in the 1960s. It is model 502, a characteristic example of post-war Dutch ceramic design known for its clean lines and functional aesthetic.
The vase is made of ceramic and features a striking two-tone glaze. The exterior is finished in a soft, cream-colored hue, while the interior has a contrasting brown color. The shape is subtly asymmetrical, with a softly rounded, square opening that tapers towards the base.
