Stoneware ceramic vase made in Vallauris by Laurent Jacques and Juliette Mazaudois.
The decoration is almost holophane-like, with hand-painted floral motifs.
This is a unique, handcrafted piece.
Laurent Jacques and Juliette Mazaudois were two ceramic artists from the mid-20th century. They founded their workshop in Vallauris in 1957. They won several awards, notably the Grand Prize from the Limoges School of Decorative Arts.

Good overall condition, with a small chip on the base.
Signed freehand on the base with the intertwined monogram LJ.
