This exceptionally comfortable office chair/armchair was designed in the 1960s by product designer Karl Dittert for Stoll Giroflex and has become a classic. Dittert worked as a teacher, professor, and founding rector at what is now the Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Design. His works have received numerous awards and are exhibited internationally in renowned museums (including MOMA/New York, Design Center/Stuttgart). Stoll is a furniture manufacturer that has specialized in the production of office furniture since the 1870s.
The armchair is upholstered in black leather with an oak backrest and seat shell. The armchair shows signs of use. The two buttons that have come off are present and need to be reattached. The armchair's swivel mechanism works well, but the hydraulic system (height/lowering/tilting) no longer functions properly and needs to be restored. Therefore, I am offering the chair at a very attractive price. The chair is marked. In the right hands, this chair will once again become an absolute showpiece of quality and exceptional seating comfort!
