Product description
The Spider table lamp, designed by Joe Colombo in 1965 for the Italian brand Oluce, is a timeless icon within modern lighting design.
With its minimalist design, industrial look and ingenious functionality, Colombo managed to create a lamp that was ahead of its time. The lamp consists of a lacquered aluminum reflector mounted on a chromed metal stem, which is adjustable in height and direction.
The lamp offers directional or indirect light, depending on how the reflector is positioned. This technical and aesthetic flexibility makes the Spider an early forerunner of contemporary work and reading lamps.
