An authentic club armchair from the 1960s, designed by Martin Visser for the Dutch manufacturer Spectrum. Model SZ44. The construction consists of a solid wooden frame, upholstered with leather that previously had a cognac color and was later repainted black. The base is made of chromed metal, which creates a floating effect and a modernist look. The chrome has recently been restored. The armchair is marked on the underside with the original Spectrum label. The overall condition of the armchair is good, with a vintage character that testifies to its age and history. The construction is very solid. This comfortable Martin Visser armchair is a timeless design icon that easily fits into various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern to minimalist and industrial.
