This antique wooden armchair is a striking example of craftsmanship, crafted from solid wood in a style characteristic of the Dutch East Indies period. The design stands out due to the richly carved wooden details and the high, elegant backrest that lends a stately appearance.
The chair is constructed from solid wood and features a refined woven rattan back panel. The dimensions are 146 centimeters in height, 66 centimeters in width, and 60 centimeters in depth. The warm brown tone of the wood highlights the natural grain and the detailed woodcarving on the top of the backrest and the graceful legs.
The piece of furniture is in good condition, with structural integrity and the characteristic patina preserved. The woodwork displays the authentic finish befitting the age of the object. Photo 5 shows a minimal loosening, which is easily repairable.
