Snake floor lamp - Signed by: Art Deco la France
Edgar Brandt was among 1 of the best metalworkers of the period and worked on very prestigious projects at the time.
Highly detailed snake rising from a woven basket and coiled around an 'Art de France' handmade pate de verre glass shade.
The snake has a bronze appearance and is life-like patinated.
The theme and representation of the lamp is the biblical serpent of Adam and Eve.
After the original was shown, these particular lamps were made about 20-30 years after the original lamps which constantly break record prices at auction.
The lamp is still in very good condition and has no damage.
