This small beechwood table belonged to the grandmother of the young woman who entrusted it to me.
Time had taken its toll: cracks in the legs, woodworm holes, a missing wedge under a leaf... I chose not to try to erase everything, but rather to preserve its charm.
After a complete sanding, treatment against wood-boring insects, a few repairs, filling the woodworm holes in the tabletop, and an oiled finish, it's ready for a new chapter.
Its compact size allows it to fit easily: as a small dining table, a side table, or a console table when closed.
A simple, warm piece, whose grain and imperfections tell a story.
Diameter: 89 cm
Height: 72 cm
Width of the closed central tabletop: 47.5 cm
Depth of the table as a console: approximately 55 cm
