European manufacture (France or Germany) dating from the first half of the 20th century.
Scalloped rim and ornate handle reminiscent of late Art Deco or the 1950s.
Height 9 cm x total width (including handle) 10 cm.
Decoration: Classic "yellow beard" iris motif, very popular between 1920 and 1950.
Handle detail: The blue border on the handle is a classic echo of the main motif, often used to give the object a "finished" look.
The "313" mark is very characteristic of ceramic manufacturers in the Rhineland region (Germany) or eastern France from the mid-20th century.
Its hand-stamped number and smooth, white porcelain style are more reminiscent of Bavarian porcelain (Germany) or pieces from the Sarreguemines factory for export.
