A charming little sauce boat from an antique porcelain toy dinner set, accompanied by its integrated tray. Its delicate floral decoration in purple tones, accented with fine golden touches, evokes the elegance of mid-20th century dinnerware sets, reproduced on a child's scale. In an era when toys were designed to faithfully imitate adult daily life, these toy dinner sets allowed children to learn table manners while developing their imagination. The sauce boat, with its two small handles and embedded oval tray, reproduces with touching precision the shapes of the bourgeois table services of the time.
