I have gradually become familiar with my fascination for trees; I call them portraits of trees. Visible in the form is what has happened in the tree's life.
Grown cheerfully and freely, reaching for the sky, but also battered, bent by the wind, torn, sawn, and chopped, with favorable growing seasons and always a home for birds and insects. Trees live in a different time zone with ages far exceeding our own. Year: 2025
Image size: 80 x 80 cm
Includes: floating frame, plain wood
