Set of six “Young Lady” chairs designed by Paolo Rizzato for Alias in the 1990s, an example of contemporary Italian design research focused on combining structural lightness with material refinement.
The seat features an enveloping wooden frame with a Vienna straw backrest, balancing traditional craftsmanship with a modern design language. The curved backrest creates a soft and welcoming profile, while the upholstered seat adds discreet and functional comfort.
The swivel cast metal base with three slender spokes introduces a technical and contemporary element that contrasts with the natural materials above. This combination results in an elegant and versatile piece suitable for both domestic interiors and professional environments.
