Wall lamp Sirrah Sirio by Kazuhide Takahama 1970
Very nice Postmodern wall lamp made by Sirrah and designed by Kayuhide Takahama in the 1970s.
Takahama studied architecture at Kogyo-Daigaku University and also became an assistant in 1953. He first came into contact with foreign designers in 1957 when he designed the Japan Pavilion for the 11th Triennial in Milan. There he met the Italian designer Dino Gavina for whom he designed furniture every year from 1963.
Takahama moved to Bologna and in the 1970s designed lacquer furniture with clean lines for, among others, Knoll, B&B, Cassina, Leucos and Simon Gavina.
The lamp is in good condition with some minimal signs of use (see photos for a good impression).
