Handcrafted banquet table; robust, full of character and for generations
This unique banquet table was entirely handcrafted, combining two selected types of wood into an expressive and particularly robust construction.
The legs are made of solid oak, while the tabletop and sub-construction were crafted from carefully selected pine wood. Additionally, a steel tube construction beneath the tabletop provides extra stability, making the table an extremely resilient piece of furniture.
A special design element are the individual parts of the tabletop. They are connected by 16 mm thick wooden rods. These visible connections not only give the tabletop a distinctive design but also deliberately reveal the table's artisanal construction. Every detail speaks of traditional yet individual craftsmanship.
For the surface, the table was treated three times with an oil glaze and finished in the characteristic rosewood shade. The glaze protects the wood and simultaneously highlights its natural grain and unique character.
Created for shared moments
The table was deliberately designed as a generous banquet table for up to ten people (and certainly for four more). It offers ample space to bring family and friends together for long evenings, shared meals, conversations, and special moments.
The wood used was deliberately cut rustically, but with great care, directly from the trunk. This preserves the original character of the natural product. Knots, grains, and individual structures are part of it, making each piece of wood unique.
Traditional construction, exceptional stability
The table's construction is based on the traditional legs of a carpenter's trestle. This proven design ensures a particularly stable and resilient construction while giving the table its distinctive appearance.
Thus, this table combines traditional craftsmanship, natural materials, and timeless design. It is not just a functional piece of furniture, but a companion full of character, created to be part of shared memories for many years, perhaps even a lifetime.
