Designed by Ingmar Relling in the 1960s, the Siesta armchair has become one of the iconic pieces of Norwegian design.
Its laminated wood frame and flexible legs provide remarkable comfort while maintaining a light and clean silhouette. Its slightly reclined seat offers a comfortable position suitable for both reading and conversation.
This example comes with its matching ottoman. The original cushions are made of black-dyed leather. The leather shows signs of wear, including creases, scuffs, and a patina developed over time. Some minor cosmetic imperfections are also visible, reflecting the age and normal use of the set. We encourage prospective buyers to carefully examine the photographs, as they form an integral part of the description and accurately represent the condition of the piece.
An iconic example of 1960s Scandinavian design, preserved in its original condition.
