An exceptional pair of stoneware wall candle holders (stentøj), model 3351 Large, designed by Einar Johansen for the renowned Søholm factory in Bornholm, Denmark. These pieces represent the pinnacle of Danish studio pottery from the 1960s. This is not the standard version, but the rarer and more impressive "Large" (L) variant, which is much more dramatic and sought-after by collectors for its wall-mounted presence.
KEY FEATURES:
Artistic Glaze: A deep, vibrant cobalt blue that fades into earthy and rusty tones, typical of Johansen's finest work. The polished finish retains its impeccable original shine.
Authenticity Guaranteed: Both pieces bear the original manufacturer's marks on the back, the model number "3351," the size specification "L," and the stoneware mark ("Stentøj").
