This vintage Danish sewing table presents a highly functional design characteristic of mid-century Scandinavian craftsmanship. The piece features a clean, rectangular silhouette that opens to reveal a thoughtfully compartmentalised interior, making it a versatile storage solution.
Constructed with a wooden frame, the exterior has been finished in a muted blue tone, while the interior retains its original warm wood finish. The top surface is divided into two sliding panels that glide outward to expose a removable wooden tray with multiple small compartments, ideal for organising sewing materials or small accessories. Beneath the tray lies a deeper storage section. The table is supported by four straight, sturdy legs that maintain its minimalist aesthetic.
The piece is in good condition, showing character consistent with its age and use. Ine side of the sliding mechanism is fully functional, the other needs to be operated by hand from the inside.
