Two beautifully designed Rimadesio tables with glass tops and lovely wavy and etched edges all around. The glass tops rest on a matte grey, powder-coated aluminium stem and base, with a round stainless steel plate in the middle, underneath the glass tops.
The tables have suffered some signs of use over time. This is best seen when viewed from above. It consists only of scratches. There are no chips anywhere. The height of the tables differs by exactly the thickness of the top, by half a centimeter. Probably a minor manufacturing defect, and this is likely one of the first tables. Diameter of glass top 70 cm, height 73 and 72.5 cm.
I do not believe there is anything comparable on the internet, let alone a set of two such beautiful vintage Italian design tables.
All in all, a very beautiful set that deserves a lovely spot in a home or conservatory. The price is for the set. Rimadesio is a designer and manufacturer of exclusive and custom-made modern interiors and was founded in 1956. It started as a small glass manufacturer that first made a name for itself in Brianza, a region in Italy. Subsequently, the company became increasingly well-known on an ever-wider scale. Today, Rimadesio is a landmark in the Brianza interior and design industry.
