An exceptionally rare and architecturally compelling set of two modernist armchairs manufactured by the renowned TON furniture works in Czechoslovakia during the 1970s. Utilizing the historic factory's expertise in steam-bent timber, these chairs exhibit a progressive late mid-century aesthetic, defined by fluidly curved continuous beech wood armrests and an unconventional geometric support frame that delivers remarkable graphic appeal from every angle.
The suite has undergone an exacting professional restoration. The light beech wood structures have been meticulously cleaned, stabilized, and re-polished to breathe new life into their natural blonde luster while honoring original surfaces.
