Product description
A special set of six Art Deco dining chairs, likely Belgian or French and dating from the 1930s.
The chairs are characterized by their elegant, curved oak veneer backrests featuring an open, geometric detail in the center. This creates a strong architectural appearance while simultaneously maintaining a refined and decorative character. The slightly flared backrests, rounded top edges, and tapered oak legs give the design a balanced silhouette, typical of the Art Deco period.
Furnished with an oak frame and oak veneer backrests. The seats have been reupholstered in a rich mustard-yellow textured fabric and fitted with new padding, which improves comfort while preserving the chairs' vintage character.
The contrast between the deep-stained oak and the vibrant upholstery gives the set a striking yet refined look. The chairs come into their own particularly well at an Art Deco, modernist, or contemporary dining table, where their sculptural backrests are fully showcased. Dimensions (DxHxL): 54x85x50 cm

In good vintage condition with visible signs of age and use, consistent with the period, including light surface scratches, patina, and wear on the wooden frame and backrest. The upholstery and filling have been renewed and are in very good condition.
