Studio Haag presents a set of pine veneer wall lamps by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for AB Ellysett, Sweden, 1960s
Crafted in the 1960s by Swedish lighting master Hans-Agne Jakobsson, this rare set of pine veneer wall lamps captures the warm, atmospheric glow that defines his signature style. Each lamp is built from thin, curved layers of pine veneer arranged in a stepped cylindrical form, creating a soft diffusion of light and a sculptural presence on the wall.
Both lamps are in very good vintage condition, with the veneer in excellent shape and free from damage. The natural grain has developed a beautiful, warm tone. On one lamp, a single top veneer slat sits a fraction lower than the other.
The pair features two different bulb fittings: one with a bayonet socket and the other with a standard screw fitting. Studio Haag has mounted both lamps directly to the wall, though a corded option with an on/off switch can be installed on request.
A harmonious and increasingly rare pair, offering gentle light, natural materiality, and the unmistakable Scandinavian warmth of Hans-Agne Jakobsson’s mid-century designs.
