This set of two original Nyhavn pendant lamps was designed by Alfred Homann and Ole V. Kjær for the renowned Danish manufacturer Louis Poulsen. The iconic silhouette and bright white color scheme make this design a timeless representative of the Scandinavian lighting tradition.
The fixtures are crafted from high-quality metal and finished in a matte white shade that reflects the light in a subtle way. The distinctive architectural design consists of a wide conical shade combined with a layered ring structure at the top. This specific construction ensures a soft, diffuse, and glare-free light distribution, exactly in accordance with the brand's strict lighting philosophy. The lamps were produced in Denmark, which is confirmed by the original markings and labels on the inside of the fixture, including the designation type 16471.
The set is in very beautiful, original condition befitting its age and careful previous use. The authentic white finish has been excellently preserved, and the lamps retain their full structural integrity and functional character.
