Product description
A beautiful pair of mid-century modern bedside tables produced in Czechoslovakia by Nový Domov, with original labels still partially visible. An authentic and well-preserved set with refined proportions and thoughtful construction.
The tables stand on bentwood legs with bent plywood details, characteristic of Central European modernist design. Each piece is topped with its original black opaline glass panel, preserved in very good condition.
The pair offers practical variation: one table features four drawers, while the other includes one drawer and an open compartment with an interior shelf. Both are finished with a high-sheen shellac front, showcasing a rich walnut veneer, while the veneered sides retain their original varnished finish, exactly as produced.
A refined and functional set in very good vintage condition, ideal for a mid-century bedroom or interior with a focus on authentic European design.
