This Danish armchair, model PJ56, was designed in the 1960s by Grete Jalk for Poul Jeppesen and is a fine example of refined Scandinavian seating from that period. The slender teak frame clearly displays the craftsmanship for which Danish design is known, with carefully rounded details and elegant, balanced lines.
The armchair features the original wool upholstery in a warm beige shade, which is still in very good condition and contrasts beautifully with the wood. The seat is comfortable and generous, without sacrificing lightness—precisely the subtle tension in which this design excels.
The set is entirely original and in very good vintage condition. The price is for the set of 2 armchairs!
