Beautiful colorful set of two Art Deco vases in purple and amber, made of Bohemian pressed glass from 1930.
The small amber-colored Art Deco vase was made in the 1930s by the Austrian company Stölzle and produced in their Czech Heřmanova Hut factory, model 18716. See catalogue.
The base is marked.
The ochre-yellow glass vase is 20 cm high and has a diameter of 9.7 cm. The diameter at the base is 9 cm.
The purple Art Deco pressed glass vase is also Bohemian and from the 1930s and also features the sleek modernist octagonal base. Unfortunately, its provenance is unknown.
The vase has a small manufacturing defect on the underside of the base. This occurred during casting in the mold (see photo). This anomaly is therefore completely original and is not noticeable at all.
The purple glass vase is 19.5 cm high and has a diameter of 11 cm. The diameter at the bottom is 9.2 cm.
Both Art Deco vases are in good condition and have no cracks, chips, or fissures.
