Rare set of 8 Danish GS60 chairs designed by Arne Wahl Iversen for Glyngøre Stolefabrik, Denmark, from the 1960s. Made of Rio rosewood, they feature a particularly elegant and light line, characteristic of Scandinavian design of this period: slender base, slightly curved uprights and a sculptural curved backrest particularly highlighting the wood grain. The seats are made of braided Danish paper cord, redone new according to traditional Scandinavian technique. A remarkable set due to its state of preservation and the fact that a complete set of eight copies has been preserved.
