The chairs feature a gently curved, ergonomically shaped backrest made of molded plywood and a solid, organically rounded seat frame. The construction is clear and meticulously crafted, with screwed or doweled joints and tapered front legs that lend the model a refined, elegant silhouette. Of particular note is the original manufacturer's label on the underside: A.G. Möbelfabrik Horgen-Glarus, Horgen, with the addition S.A. fabriques Meubles Horgen-Glarus a Horgen. This label clearly identifies the long-established Swiss production facility in Horgen. The wood surface is light-stained or clear-lacquered beech with a vibrant grain. Some chairs intentionally display darker stains, indicating different periods of use. The warm honey color underscores the timeless, functional character.
Condition: Noticeable signs of age-related wear on the seats and edges, some wear to the lacquer, a few dents, and slight color variations between the chairs. Sturdy construction and overall solid construction. Authentic patina with charming vintage character.
