Original set of 6 dining chairs by Poul Cadovius, crafted in walnut wood with newly handwoven paper cord seats.
The design reflects Cadovius’ signature architectural clarity and light visual expression. The tapered, sharply defined legs create a striking contrast to the gently curved backrest, combining graphic precision with organic softness. This tension makes the set a strong example of Scandinavian mid-century design language.
The seats have been completely re-caned by hand using traditional Danish paper cord. The walnut frames have been professionally cleaned, refinished, and lightly lacquered while preserving their original character and patina impression.
Condition: Professionally restored – newly woven seats, cleaned and refinished walnut frames, structurally solid. Excellent vintage condition with refined tactile quality.
