Elegant set of six Danish design chairs, designed by Erik Buch. The set consists of five Model 49 dining chairs and one matching Model 50 armchair. Erik Buch's designs are known for their organic lines, refined detailing, and exceptional seating comfort. The slightly curved backrests, slender solid teak frames, and subtly shaped joints give the chairs a timeless look characteristic of Danish design from the 1960s. The set is in neat vintage condition. Over the years, the teak has developed a beautiful warm patina and shows only light signs of wear appropriate for its age. The chairs feature a neat yellow upholstery fabric that adds a contemporary accent and contrasts beautifully with the warm teak. The combination of five dining chairs with one armchair makes this set particularly suitable for use at a dining table, where the armchair serves excellently as a chair at the head of the table.
