A refined set of six Italian chairs from the 1950s, attributed to Vittorio Dassi, featuring an elegant, sculptural line perfectly representative of postwar Italian design. The chairs feature a black-painted wooden frame, slender, slightly arched legs, and a distinctive open-structure backrest, to which soft, caramel-colored faux leather padding is attached. The shape of the backrest, narrow in the center and wider at the ends, gives the whole a particularly refined look. The contrast between the glossy black of the frame and the warm tone of the upholstery creates a very elegant effect, typical of 1950s Italian interiors. They show normal signs of wear due to age and use.
