This set of six dessert plates is part of the Country Basket Collection, produced in Japan in the 1980s. The design is distinguished by a central floral motif depicting a woven basket filled with pink and blue flowers, surrounded by a delicate ribbon.
Made of glazed ceramic, the plates feature a creamy white base embellished with small, scattered floral details and a contoured rim with a thin blue line. The Japanese craftsmanship of the era guarantees the meticulous craftsmanship typical of tableware of that decade. The set includes a complimentary seventh plate.
