Product description
For sale is an exquisite set of five antique chairs in the timeless Chippendale style. Dating from the Historicist period, around 1900 to 1920, these chairs are crafted from high-quality, dark-stained mahogany or walnut. The set is distinguished by its characteristic curved cabriole legs and intricately openwork backrests, adding an elegant touch to any dining room. A particular highlight is the hand-stitched floral embroidery on the seat of one of the chairs, while the other four are upholstered in a matching, subtly patterned fabric. The chairs are in well-maintained, age-appropriate condition with a beautiful patina that underscores the antique character of this special ensemble.
