For sale: A beautiful, iconic set of 4 vintage design chairs, model SM400, designed by Gerd Lange for Drabert (Germany, 1970s/1980s).
This is an absolute design classic, finished in the most sought-after and popular Space Age color: bright orange!
The chairs are not only an eye-catcher in any interior, but are also incredibly comfortable and conveniently stackable.
Condition of the chairs:
Chrome: The chrome sled base has been fully hand-cleaned and polished. It shines beautifully again and is virtually free of oxidation.
Synthetic shell: The orange polypropylene shells are in nice, sturdy condition and have retained their deep color well.
Signs of use: There are light, normal vintage signs of use present (such as some light white superficial scuff marks on the side/back from stacking), which is entirely consistent with the age and vintage charm of the chairs (see detail photos). Specifications:
