This set of four vintage tubular frame chairs has been given a completely new life.
The chairs have been fully disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt. The original grey upholstery material has been replaced with new foam and a warm sand-colored fabric, giving the chairs a much softer and contemporary look. The last photo shows the chairs as they were before reupholstering.
The frame and armrests are in neat vintage condition. Due to their age, there are some light signs of wear here and there, befitting a piece of furniture with history. There is a tear in one of the armrests. See the last detail photo. This does not detract from the sturdiness or appearance of the chairs.
Each chair has been reupholstered by hand and carefully finished.
