This elegant set of four vintage cow horn chairs is an iconic design by Louis van Teeffelen for AWA and was made in the Netherlands in the 1960s. The chairs are crafted from warm teak and upholstered in the original De Ploeg fabric (Walker 89), a high-quality woven upholstery in a subtle mottled beige.
What makes these chairs so special is their sculptural shape. The characteristic "cow horn" armrests, organically shaped backrests, and slender legs give the design an almost animalistic elegance. The combination of the soft textile and the warm wood ensures comfortable seating – perfect for dining, reading, or chatting until the evening falls.
