Set of 4 Tecta D20 Cantilever Chairs – Black Wicker & Pearl Chrome
Sleek, lightweight, and effortlessly stylish — this set of 4 authentic Tecta D20 chairs combines a sculptural pearl chrome cantilever frame with finely woven black wicker. The shimmering pearl chrome gives a softer, more refined glow than standard steel, perfectly complementing the deep, textured wicker.
Based on Tecta’s legendary B20 cantilever design, these chairs embody the Bauhaus vision of “floating and flying” furniture — inspired by El Lissitzky’s radical idea of seating without four legs. Developed in collaboration with design greats Mart Stam, Marcel Breuer, and Jean Prouvé, the cantilever chair became an enduring icon of modernism.
The result is a seat that offers comfort, flexibility, and a sense of lightness — almost as if you could float.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Wicker is tight, frames retain their distinctive pearl chrome sheen with minimal signs of age.
