Product description
This medium-sized plate features the Amanda motif from the Swedish ceramic factory Rörstrand. The "Amanda" service was produced from 1968 to 1977 and is known for its hand-painted decor in brown and dark blue tones on a light blue background.
The design is by Swedish graphic designer and artist Christina Campbell. She worked at Rörstrand from 1966 to 1972, where in addition to "Amanda," she created other sets such as "Agda," "Pyret" and "Tobias." After her time at Rörstrand, Campbell focused primarily on graphic work and etchings, and her work is represented in museums and galleries in Sweden and Denmark.
This plate is in excellent vintage condition, with minimal signs of use. It is just slightly smaller than the dinner plate, but larger than the breakfast plate.
