Authentic set of four Model 79 dining chairs designed by Niels Otto Møller and manufactured by J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik, Denmark, circa 1960s.
Crafted in teak, with the elegant sculpted backrest and tapered legs characteristic of Møller’s refined Scandinavian design.
Each chair is marked underneath with the original stamp:
“J L MØLLER MODELS – MADE IN DENMARK.”
Very good vintage condition. The wooden frames are solid and retain a beautiful warm patina. The seats were reupholstered at a later date in a brown patterned fabric and are clean and presentable.
Two chairs show a small discreet restoration at the upper corner of the backrest, clearly visible in the photos. Minor signs of age and use consistent with their period.
Sold as a set of four only.
