Erwin Berghammer was the founder of TEAM 7, the Austrian manufacturer of natural wood and designer furniture. He established a small carpentry workshop in Ried im Innkreis in 1959, which later evolved into TEAM 7. From the very beginning, Berghammer focused on eco-friendly furniture production, creating high-quality solid wood furniture made from naturally treated wood. In doing so, TEAM 7 became a pioneer in the field of sustainably produced furniture. Erwin Berghammer designed the Opus I armchair in the 1980s; crafted from solid alder wood, it is a quintessential example of TEAM 7’s corporate philosophy. The set offered here consists of four chairs in excellent condition.
