Set of 4 original leather swivel VVD Chairs designed by VINCENT VAN DUYSEN for the Italian B&B ITALIA | MAXALTO.
A design in which virtually everything revolves around proportion, tranquility, material, and comfort. Qualities for which designer Van Duysen became internationally known.
Various variants and finishes emerged from this collection, each built around the same architectural design language and understated luxury. Please see the designer's website for details.
Our version is black leather with a dark chocolate-colored, almost black, swivel base. The leather features fine horizontal stitching that gives the surface a subtle rhythm while simultaneously referencing classic Italian craftsmanship and luxury interior details.
The gentle curve between the seat and back creates a remarkably comfortable chair without any visual heaviness.
These chairs strike a pleasant balance between strict minimalism and tangible warmth. They maintain a calm appearance while the leather and soft seat immediately invite use, whether at the dining table, at a desk, or freestanding in the room. Vincent Van Duysen is today one of the most influential designers in international interior design. His work for brands such as B&B Italia, Molteni, Flos, and Zara Home is used worldwide in luxury residential projects and boutique hotels.

The chairs are in excellent used condition. The leather is in beautiful condition. The underside of the swivel bases shows some cosmetic marks; these parts are easily detachable and can be professionally repainted if desired.
