Beautiful, striking set of two large hand-blown soliflore vases (bent neck) in an atmospheric smoky grey hue. These vases breathe the organic design language of the 60s and 70s (Mid-Century Modern). An absolute eye-catcher in this set is the thick glass base. This is full of controlled air bubbles (seed bubbles) that beautifully catch the light and give a silvery shimmer to the glass. The underside features an authentic, rough pontil mark, proving the artisanal craftsmanship of the glassblower. Height: Approx. 37 cm. Base Diameter: Approx. 9 cm. Color: Smoky Grey / Charcoal / Smokey Grey. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Completely clear glass and absolutely free of chips, cracks, or bothersome limescale. Beautiful as a duo on a dresser, side table, or in a vintage/retro interior. The asking price is for the set of two vases together. When shipped, the vases will, of course, be packed extremely carefully and thickly in bubble wrap.
