This set of two vintage bar stools is inspired by the iconic Cesca design by Marcel Breuer. The stools combine a timeless aesthetic with the characteristic materials of the seventies and eighties, making them a sought-after addition for lovers of classic design. The chrome tubular frame is in beautiful condition. The wickerwork in the seat and back has been replaced and is in excellent condition: light in color, beautifully tightly woven. The black lacquered wooden edges show signs of use: the lacquer is worn off here and there on the corners and the front edge. To me, that is part of the charm of a piece of this age — it gives them character alongside all that fresh wicker. Those who prefer a solid black can easily have the edges touched up. Chrome, wicker, and black lacquer: a combination that fits into almost any interior. They look just as good at a sleek kitchen island as in a warm, layered interior with vintage elements and prints.
