This set of two vases is a classic example of French Art Deco design from the 1930s. The vases are crafted from rosaline pressed glass, a material that was highly popular during that period due to its warm, soft pink hue and the way it catches the light.
The vases display a characteristic geometric and ribbed relief, typical of the Art Deco style. The largest vase is marked 'Made in France' on the neck. The set consists of a larger and a smaller piece, creating a playful asymmetrical effect when presented together. The dimensions of the largest vase are approximately 15 centimeters in height and 10 centimeters in width.
Both vases are in good vintage condition, commensurate with their age and use. The glass has retained its original luster and the structure is intact.
