These Pigreco chairs, designed by Tobia & Afra Scarpa in the late 1950s / early 1960s, are an iconic example of Italian design from that period. The design originated during Scarpa’s time at the University Institute of Architecture in Venice, under the guidance of Franco Albini.
The chairs feature an elegant frame of curved wooden armrests and backrests, creating a refined and sculptural appearance. The seat has been fitted with new beige upholstery.
