Beautiful set of 2 original Gelderland 5470 Lotus armchairs, designed by renowned Dutch designer Jan des Bouvrie.
This iconic Dutch design classic features a chrome tubular frame, solid wooden armrests and high-quality genuine burgundy leather upholstery. The rich burgundy leather is a rare configuration and has developed a beautiful natural patina over the years, giving the chairs plenty of character.
Both armchairs are structurally solid, very comfortable and remain in good vintage condition. The leather shows normal signs of wear consistent with age, as expected for authentic vintage pieces, while the chrome frame and wooden armrests are well preserved.
A timeless addition to any modern, vintage or mid-century inspired interior.
