Two beautiful hand-knotted Chinese tapestries from the 1970s, originally purchased from the renowned tapestry retailer Persia in Bergen op Zoom.
The tapestries feature a refined bird and blossom motif in a traditional Oriental style. Thanks to the fine knot structure, beautiful sheen, and detailed finish, they have a luxurious appearance. Both tapestries date from the same period and form a matching set. The reverse side displays the design very sharply, which is characteristic of fine hand-knotted work. Material: hand-knotted, presumably wool with silk or art silk accents. Exact percentage unknown. Slight signs of wear due to age. The light tapestry has slight signs of wear regarding the color and structure, more so than the dark one. Can be purchased as a set or individually (price in the advertisement is per set).
