A striking Italian floor lamp from the postmodern era of the 1980s, crafted from black lacquered metal with a sculptural lamp head made of textured Murano glass. The head is designed as a geometric composition of faceted, clear glass elements that refract the light, creating a distinctive, atmospheric effect. At its center sits the light source in a metal socket with a perforated reflector, typical of high-quality Italian lighting design of this period. The minimalist, strictly vertical frame rests on a square base, emphasizing the lamp's architectural character. It is controlled by a cord dimmer. The combination of black metal and solid Murano glass is stylistically reminiscent of designs created in the 1980s by designers such as Leucos and AV Mazzega. Based on the quality of the glass, its cut structure, and the overall design, it is highly likely that the lamp was made in Murano.
