Exceptional and rare set of ten dining chairs designed by Niels O. Møller and produced by J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark. Introduced in 1951, Model 71 is one of the earliest and most important designs in the Møller collection, marking the beginning of the brand’s internationally celebrated legacy of Danish craftsmanship.
This elegant dining chair is defined by its beautifully curved backrest, crafted from multiple layers of molded veneer. The sculptural form creates a soft, flowing silhouette while offering excellent ergonomic support. Combined with the refined solid wood frame, the chair achieves a perfect balance of comfort, lightness, and visual sophistication.
Each chair has been professionally restored and fitted with a new hand-woven seat made from original Danish paper cord. The frames have been re-glued, refinished, and remain structurally sound, showing only minor, age-appropriate signs of wear and a desirable natural patina.
Condition: Very good vintage condition – professionally refurbished, newly woven seats, and sturdy construction. A rare opportunity to acquire a complete set of this iconic model, ideal for refined interiors and collectors of Danish modern design.
