German reliability, refinement, and quality. Clear mid-century simplicity, minimalist, timeless, and functional; all Bauhaus characteristics.
Very beautiful and solid set of 2 dining chairs by Fröscher KG from East Germany, from the 1960s-70s.
The very sturdy solid precious metal frames have become somewhat rusted over time, but this suits lived-in vintage furniture. This could potentially be remedied by lightly sanding the top layer. After all, it is very thick metal, truly heavy-duty quality.
One chair is slightly better than the other, but as a set, they really belong together. See photos. Auf Deutchs
